Bikes & bites - Maple ridge
We’re thrilled to partner with the City of Maple Ridge for the 2025 Bikes & Bites cycling event, happening June 28th, 2025. This vibrant community is actively investing in cycling tourism and we're proud to support their vision. Maple Ridge boasts one of the most scenic sections of the Trans Canada Trail, with a stunning dyke trail system that winds along the Alouette River—perfect for casual riders and nature lovers.
For mountain biking enthusiasts, the Thornhill and Woodlot mountain bike trails offer fast, flowy singletrack and technical descents through the lush coastal forest. And if you’re into road cycling, don’t miss the rolling hills and spectacular views around Golden Ears Provincial Park and Whonnock Lake—ideal for an epic bike day trip or training ride.
Whether you're craving a relaxed cruise or a heart-pumping ride, Maple Ridge is a hidden gem for cycling adventures in British Columbia
Get in gear and get active with this fun family bike outing. Foodies and cyclists alike will love this 3-hour guided tour through Maple Ridge's vibrant agricultural lands and finest farm-to-table hotspots.
Each stop offers riders a bite-sized sample of local artisan food, products, or an experience—alongside the chance to collect stamps and enter a prize draw at the final destination. For anyone looking to join the event please follow the link below for tickets.
