Itinerary

Day One - North Vancouver & Pitt Meadows (48km cycling)

Guests will be picked up from downtown Vancouver and we will make our way to one of North Vancouver's hidden gems, Lynn Canyon Park. Here we begin our adventure with a breathtaking hike through the temperate rainforest, crossing a 50 meter high suspension bridge that allows spectacular panoramic views over Lynn Creek and the park.

Following the hike, we drive to Pitt Meadows in the Fraser Valley and begin the biking portion of the day. Here we will follow the The Great Trail (formally known as The Trans Canada Trail) through colourful farmland and meandering rivers against the backdrop of the magnificent mountains of Golden Ears and Garibaldi Provincial Park. For our first meal together, we will stop for lunch at a third generation, family run local farm to table café called Hopcott Farms. Following lunch we will rejoin the trail, biking North to Pitt Lake, one of the largest freshwater tidal lakes in the world. Pitt Lake is also home to Pitt Addington Marsh & Widgeon Valley Natural Wildlife Reserve, a beautiful place filled with wetlands, forests and sweeping mountains. Surrounded by such a wild and rugged landscape, it’s hard to believe that we are only an hour’s drive from downtown Vancouver. At Grant Narrow’s we will finish our bike ride for the day and toast to the beginning of a great adventure. Our accommodation for the night will be in Squamish at the Executive Hotel & Suites.

Day Two - Squamish Valley Loop (54km)

After breakfast, we set out to explore the heart and hidden gems of Squamish — a vibrant mountain town nestled between towering granite cliffs and glacial rivers. Today’s route is a relaxed, scenic loop that showcases the valley’s incredible natural diversity.

We begin our ride just outside downtown Squamish, near the confluence of the Mamquam and Squamish Rivers. From here, we head toward the Sea to Sky Highway before joining the scenic Sea to Sky Connector Trail — a smooth, flowing route that follows the contours of the valley floor. The trail winds north through a landscape of moss-draped forests, open farmland, and distant glaciers, offering a perfect balance of gentle riding and spectacular mountain scenery.

Around midday, we’ll stop for lunch at The Watershed Grill, a Squamish favourite known for its fresh local fare and unbeatable riverside setting. Enjoy a relaxed meal on the patio overlooking the Squamish River, where you might spot eagles soaring overhead or salmon jumping below.

After lunch, we continue deeper into the Squamish Valley, following quiet country roads that trace the river’s edge. The peaks of Mount Garibaldi and the Tantalus Range tower above as we make our way toward the end of Squamish Valley Road, where the paved route gives way to wilderness. Here, surrounded by the raw beauty of the backcountry and the sound of the river rushing nearby, we’ll end our ride for the day — a perfect conclusion to a serene and scenic journey through the heart of the valley. We will have a van transfer back to the same accommodation for a second night.

Day Three - Whistler (38km with rolling hills)

Today’s ride showcases Whistler’s alpine beauty — a 38km loop that captures the spirit of this mountain village. We begin in Whistler Village and follow a scenic paved path that winds through forests, alongside glacier-fed rivers, and past crystal-clear lakes framed by the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb.

There’s a touch more elevation today as we ride higher into the valley, rewarded with sweeping views across the mountains and down to the lakes below. The route offers a perfect balance of effort and ease, with flowing descents and peaceful stretches through Whistler’s network of trails.

Around midday, we’ll stop for lunch at Table Nineteen Whistler, a lakeside restaurant overlooking Green Lake — the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal surrounded by alpine scenery.

After lunch, we complete our loop back to the village, passing through shaded forest paths and open viewpoints before returning to our accommodation - The Listel Hotel. It’s a day that blends adventure, scenery, and the laid-back luxury that defines Whistler.

Day Four - Pemberton (41km)

Today we ride through the heart of the Pemberton Valley, surrounded by sweeping alpine peaks and open farmland that define this beautiful region. Our 41km route follows quiet country roads and gentle trails beneath the rugged slopes of Mount Currie and the Coast Mountains. The scenery is a blend of wild and cultivated — golden fields, winding rivers, and deep green forests framed by snow-capped summits.

The ride flows along a series of peaceful backroads and flat green trails beside the river, creating a smooth and scenic loop through the valley. We’ll make our way toward One Mile Lake, where a short boardwalk circles the shoreline and offers a calm spot to pause and take in the mountain views before the final stretch.

We finish our ride at Sunstone Golf Club, enjoying lunch overlooking the course and surrounding peaks — the perfect place to relax and take in the quiet rhythm of the Pemberton Valley before returning to Whistler for the evening.

Day Five - Whistler (28km)
